First I'd better run through how this site works on the infrastructure. I have a domain with cloudflare and I'm using free resources.

This explains why it's fiddly and a little obtuse. But it's all free tools and patience.

I use Obsidian as my notes/study app. Started using it as a way to keep track of our D&D games and then notes for Fencing. I've barely scratched the surface of its functionality- map view that you can see below (or to the side if you're on desktop) is really useful for spotting connections. It makes a good base for knowledge sharing and eclectic minds. There's a paid sync option. But plenty of plugins and alternative ways to get things done.

Zotero is my reference and resource gatherer

Github for the storage/publication aspect. It's basically invisible once set up. If you know about git, it's self explanatory why it's here. If you don't.. well hopefully I'll explain why in the page. In Github is Digital Garden which does the heavy lifting.

Cloudflare allows you a static web page for free, makes the DNS easy and is a perfectly satisfactory box for it. Github pushes the changes and it all uploads.

Workflow is how it all goes together.
